Cronulla Residence, NSW
The brief for this garden started out as a simple replacement of a dying tree in the back yard, and culminated into a renovation of half the back yard. The family had been living in their property for several years and had seen all their children grow up and move out of home, so now the garden could be transformed into a decorative, formal living and entertaining space.
Removing all the existing trees and shrubs opened up the garden to show existing retaining walls, paths, shed and lawn. Keeping the plant palette simple, we transformed the garden into a very practical living space, with strong architectural lines grounding the house.
