Marcus Tilbrook (B. Larch, Certificate IV Horticulture)
After completing his Certificate IV in Landscape Horticulture at Ryde TAFE, Marcus went onto to study Landscape Architecture at the University of Canberra. Upon completing his degree, Marcus worked for Scape Landscape Architects as a Junior draftsperson under the guidance of Andrew Turnbull and Hayden Rosser.
With a desire to work in the Residential sector, Marcus moved to Peter Fudge Gardens, where he worked as a designer for Peter Fudge on many of his residential and country gardens. After numerous years gaining knowledge from one of Sydney's leading Landscape Designers, Marcus then moved to Myles Baldwin Designer Gardens to run the design office.
Marcus has taken the practices learnt from two of Sydney's foremost designer's and is now carving a name for himself in Sydney with Venation Landscapes.
Focusing on simplicity, Marcus likes to use the strong Architectural lines given by a building and bring them out into the garden as much as possible. Be it a path or simple garden edge, Marcus draws these lines to give a landscape structure and formality. A mix of planting palettes sees Marcus blend styles from English, French, Italian, Tropical and Organic.
